Babies bring with them joy and happiness in. Suddenly, your house is buzzing with activity and your world revolves around your little one. But babies, delicate as they are, need to be handled with utmost care.

Even a single act of negligence can prove disastrous. So as parents you must be very cautious and attentive around your baby.

Never leave your baby alone

All it takes is a second for something horrific to happen. So make sure never to leave your baby unattended or alone. It exposes them to unprecedented dangers.

In case you get busy with some other work, don’t forget to leave your baby under adult supervision.

Never ignore any medical issues

Never ignore any medical issues

As parents, our children undoubtedly come before everything else. If you notice any abnormal symptom in your child, consult a doctor. Do not take any chances.

You might have people suggesting home remedies, but it makes sense to get an expert opinion. As they say, better safe than sorry.

Never simply dismiss your baby’s cries

Never simply dismiss your baby’s cries

Babies are usually prone to crying, specially during their first few years. It’s usually a sign that they are hungry, in pain or their diaper needs changing. However, if you notice anything anomalous in your baby’s crying, seek medical help.

There may or may not be an underlying serious reason, but at least you will be rest assured.

Never ignore your baby’s expressions

Never ignore your baby’s expressions

Babies cannot talk but that does not mean they can’t express themselves. Parents must pay attention to their babies actions and facial expressions and take cues from them. This will also strengthen the bond between you and your baby.
Never take your baby out for a bike ride

Taking babies out on bike rides can be risky. They are fidgety and cannot balance themselves. As a result, there is a possibility that they may fall off even in the presence of a pillion rider. So bike rides for babies are best avoided.
Never fight in front of your child

Never fight in front of your child

Babies are very sensitive. If you constantly keep fighting in front of them, it is bound to have a negative effect on them. It may also disturb their sleeping pattern and make them more cranky.
Never scare your baby

Never scare your baby

Scaring babies is the easiest way for some parents to get them to listen to what they have to say. However, it is not a good idea to frequently scare your baby into submission. It could have long-term repercussions.
Never forget to baby-proof your home

Never forget to baby-proof your home

It is important to keep household dangers out of your baby’s especially when he starts crawling. You have to be doubly sure when he starts walking. Lock drawers properly, keep mobile phones and laptops away from them and make sure they don’t fool around with plug points.
Never hold your baby carelessly

Never hold your baby carelessly

Babies are delicate and fragile and that’s why they need to be handled with utmost care. Properly support your baby’s head and neck while holding him. Don’t let other children or even the older sibling handle your baby till he is at least a few months old.
