This will include new MOE Kindergartens set to open in 2023.

There will be 50 Ministry of Education (MOE) kindergartens that will be part of the MOE Kindergarten list participating in the registration exercise for Kindergarten 1 in 2023.

In a press release by MOE on Thursday (13 January), the ministry said that this will also include seven of the new kindergartens that will be open next year.

“At MOE Kindergartens, children engage in rich learning through relevant real-world activities enriched with a distinctive Singapore flavour,” said MOE.

4. Registration exercise to be carried out on the MOE Kindergarten website

A Few More Reminders About The MOE Kindergarten Registration Exercise & Virtual Open House

  1. You can seek admission outside of the registration period
The ministry adds how parents can also seek admission to Kindergarten 1 or 2 outside of this registration period by contacting the MOE Kindergarten directly. You can check whether they have any vacancies left for your child.
  2. No physical open houses for kindergartens
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the kindergartens will not be holding physical open houses to prevent intermingling and reduce transmission.
  3. Virtual open house will still be available
Parents who want to be better informed about each kindergarten’s curriculum can instead sign up for their virtual open house on the MOE Kindergarten website. This will be on 29 January 2022 from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

For more information about the MOE Kindergarten registration exercise and the list of kindergartens participating, you can always visit the ministry’s website here.
