We’re always on the lookout for Meghan Markle news, just because the new member of the royal family slays on every front. And our wishes have come true! Just five months after the most expensive royal wedding, Kensington Palace confirms that the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is pregnant!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were just seen last on Friday at Princess Eugenie’s wedding. The Duchess of Sussex was seen in a navy blue coat, hiding any signs of her pregnancy.

Kensington Palace tweeted: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.
“Their Royal Highnesses very much appreciate all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share their happy news.
“The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple and were able to congratulate them on Friday at the wedding in person.
“Ms Doria Ragland is very happy about the lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild.”
It is understood that Meghan is past the 12 week mark. Once born, the baby will be seventh in line to the throne.

Kensington Palace said there would be “no changes” to the royal tour to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand as a result of the news.
The couple has just started their royal tour of Australia, which will last 16 days and coincides with the fourth Invictus Games, which begins in Sydney on Saturday.
This visit is a mirror of Prince Harry’s parents – Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales – whose first married royal tour was to Australia and New Zealand.
