From 11 to 29 June 2025, the family-friendly shopping mall is celebrating SG60 with a series of nostalgic, interactive events designed to delight both kids and parents. Reimagined Retro Playgrounds at Marina Square

Event Dates: 11 to 22 June 2025

Opening Hours: Monday to Thursday 11am to 8:30pm | Friday to Sunday 11am to 9pm

Marina Square’s central atrium will transform into a nostalgic playground wonderland featuring three giant inflatables, inspired by some of Singapore’s most iconic playgrounds of the 1970s and 1980s:

Dragon Slide: A tribute to the iconic Dragon Playground of Toa Payoh, originally designed by Khor Ean Ghee in 1979. Kids can climb, slide, and bounce through this vibrant inflatable replica.
Pelican Maze: Designed to reflect Singapore’s local wildlife and lush tropical landscapes, this fun maze offers kids a chance to explore and learn through play.
Elephant Playground: A playful inflatable version of the classic mosaic elephant structures that once stood proudly in neighbourhood parks across the island.

Admission: $6 for a 30-minute session (usual price $10), available exclusively to Marina Square Rewards Members. Limited to 2,500 passes. Tickets can be purchased via the Marina Square App. Non-members can sign up for free via the app.

Enjoy Timeless Childhood Games

Step back into the past from 11 to 22 June with a series of classic games at the atrium. These traditional games are ideal for parents looking to share their childhood fun with the next generation:

SG60 Faber-Castell Soft Pastel Art Workshop

Date: 21 June 2025

Time: 2:30pm to 4pm and 4:30pm to 6pm

Venue: Marina Foyer

Cost: $35 per participant

Unleash your creativity with a hands-on art session themed around SG60 and National Day. Perfect for kids and beginners of all ages, this workshop includes:

A Soft Pastel Starter Kit from Faber-Castell (worth $36.70)
A metal “I Love SG” stencil (worth $6)
A photo frame (worth $10)
