Make-A-Wish Singapore helped fulfil a 12-year-old girl's wish of owning a pink PC.

Most kids grow up to lead a full life. But not everybody is as fortunate. Some children struggle with health and happiness, especially when there is a serious illness involved.

But for a 12-year-old Singaporean girl with cancer, struggles were turned into a dream-come-to by Make-A-Wish Singapore.

Known to help create special memories for children with critical illnesses by granting over 1,600 wishes since 2002, Make-A-Wish Singapore fulfilled the girl’s wish of owning a pink personal computer (PC).

Here’s how Make-A-Wish Singapore and Mansa Computers gave shape to the dreams of the little girl who is battling cancer.

The 12-year-old has – ewing sarcoma – a type of cancer that has made her either hospital or home bound. She is therefore, unable to meet her friends – who she naturally misses terribly. And the only time they interact is when she plays online video games with them.

Besides gaming, her other passions are the colour pink and Demon Slayer. So what better way to make her happy than to combine all three of her loves?

Make-A-Wish Singapore Approached To FulFil Her Wish

To fulfil her wishes, Make-A-Wish Singapore approached Mansa Computers, a custom PC shop to build a pink-themed PC.

Then with the help of brands like ASUS and AOC Monitors, the pink PC concept was made a reality.

Other than the keyboard, mouse, and headphones that has grey tones, everything else is pink. And yes, don’t miss the chair and the table that are also in her favourite colour.

They custom-sprayed the graphics card to pink shade, thus completing the aesthetic.

Cosplayers step in to make her wish come true

Keeping in mind that the girl is fond of Demon Slayer, Mansa Computers approached some of their cosplayer friends.

DJ Haru cosplayed as Mitsuri Kanroji, while Rea Kami was dressed as Kocho Shinobu, who happens to be the girl’s favourite character.

According to the Must Share News report, Mansa Computers got the cosplayers to build the pink PC for the girl. They even recorded the entire process and is in the process of sharing it with her soon.

Due to the current restrictions in place in Singapore – where only two visitors are allowed – a representative each from Make-A-Wish Singapore and Mansa Computers went to the girl’s home to deliver the PC.

A Demon Slayer gift pack was also sent over by MUSE SG to her.

This is a beautiful story of how everyone came together to fulfil the girl’s wish. Make-A-Wish Singapore could make it because several collaborators, including custom PC stores, peripheral brands, and even cosplayers agreed to help.

Here’s hoping that she wins her battle some day!
