The Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) proudly presents Little SIFA 2025, a family-friendly programme that runs from 19 May to 1 June at Empress Lawn, Fullerton Road. Tailored for children, families, and the young at heart, this vibrant festival experience features interactive installations, live performances, and tactile art workshops, all created by talented Singaporean artists.

More than just a cultural showcase, Little SIFA is a creative playground that invites visitors to explore the wonders of the arts through meaningful, engaging, and hands-on encounters. Set against the iconic backdrop of the Civic District, this outdoor celebration is a must-visit for anyone looking to discover the power of art to inspire and connect.

Highlights of Little SIFA 2025

The House Between the Winds by Yang Jie

This kinetic soundscape installation pays tribute to the historical plantations once located along Orchard Road. Through innovative use of movement and sound, the structure becomes a living artwork, responding to the interactions of its visitors. Children and adults alike are invited to explore the piece, triggering sensory elements that evoke curiosity and creativity.

  • Installation Viewing: Daily from 19 May to 1 June, 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

  • Live Performances: 23–25 May and 30 May–1 June, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

The Purple Symphony

Don’t miss Singapore’s largest inclusive orchestra, The Purple Symphony, which brings together musicians of all abilities. Featuring a captivating blend of Asian and Western instruments, the ensemble delivers enchanting renditions of well-loved melodies, showcasing the beauty of unity and diversity in performance.

  • Performance Dates: 23–25 May

  • Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Animal Farm (30-minute adaptation) by The Finger Players

A delightful reinterpretation of George Orwell’s iconic novel, this 30-minute adaptation uses puppetry and visual storytelling to introduce younger audiences to the themes of power, equality, and community. Crafted for accessibility and engagement, this performance is a fantastic entry point for all ages to appreciate literature through theatre.
