Li Chun 2022 will be starting from 4 February on a Friday and will end on 19 February, a Saturday. Since it is known as the “Beginning of Spring”, it is the first festival of the Chinese solar year.
According to the Way Fengshui Group, it is believed that depositing money during Li Chun symbolises steady income throughout the year. For those who practice the tradition, it can mean a promise of good fortune for days ahead.
There are even many people who choose “auspicious” timings based on their zodiac sign throughout the day to deposit their money on their bank accounts. Now that online banking is also available, many tend to deposit money online when it is more convenient.
With all the Ang Baos your kiddos have probably gotten from Chinese New Year, this could also be the best opportunity for them to start learning the importance of having a savings account.
