Korean actor Kim Hyun Joong, of “Boys Over Flowers” and “Playful Kiss”, will be in Singapore from 1 December (Wednesday) to 3 December (Friday) as ambassador for The Face Shop.
He will be making a store visit and meeting with fans on 3 December (Friday) at the IMM, Garden Plaza Level 3 at 11 am.
Kim Hyun Joong is the leader of popular boy band, SS501 and has gained fame for his role as “Yoon Ji Hoo” in the Korean hit drama series “Boys Over Flowers”. He also acted in the lead role of the MBC (Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation) drama, ‘Playful Kiss’.
For the Kim Hyun Joong event ticket holders, The Face Shop has a few notes for you to take down.
- For VIP entry, registration starts at 9.30am at the entrance to the roof plaza outside Bagus food court.For entry ticket holders, registration will start at 8.30am. A queue pole will be placed at the pavement beside the open field facing the entrance of Fish and Co.
- For the fan signing event, there will be a charity auction to auction off 2 life-sized Kim Hyun Joong standees. All proceeds of the auction will be donated via World Vision to the One Life Fund that helps local children with AIDS.
- Successful bidders will be invited on stage to have a photo taken with Kim Hyun Joong.
- The duration of the Fan Singing Event depends on how long he takes to sign all the autographs.
- All fans who are attending the fan signing event need to be at the IMM Roof Garden by 10.45am.Those arriving after 10. 45a.m. will be not be allowed to go in as security checks need to be done to prepare for Kim Hyun Joong’s entry.
- The Face Shop crew will collect all fan boards at reception and try to secure as many boards along the barricades for Kim Hyun Joong to see.
- If you will like to collect your fan boards after that, you may do so after the event a crew will be there to render help.
- Any gifts for Kim Hyun Joong will be collected at the registration point and placed on a table on the stage. He will randomly open 2-3 gifts on stage.
- All the gifts will then be delivered to his hotel after that.
- Kim Hyun Joong will sign on 2 life size standees for auction.
VIP passes were offered to the first 120 customers who bought over $250 worth of The Face Shop products while normal entry passes were offered to those who spent a minimum of $ 100 at The Face Shop.
