After more than five colourful decades, Jurong Bird Park will be moving to their new home. It is set to close on the 3rd of January 2023 and move to Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

The park will celebrate its legacy and rich heritage starting on the 3rd of September, 2022. They will be hosting some programmes that emphasise the park's transformation all these years.
It includes a self-guided Heritage Trail, allowing visitors to learn about the park's transformation through a series of displays. The displays illustrate the critical milestones in the 51-year journey of Jurong Bird Park.
Aside from that, visitors will also be allowed to snap a selfie at the old Panorail station. They recently reopened it to the public, and it is now complete with a recreation of Panorail.
Have you heard about their old cuckoo clock tower? You will see it at the park entrance, serving as the park's countdown timer to its final day of operation.
Aside from the cuckoo clock tower, they also create the living Memory Wall. It is located on the Penguin Coast, where people can watch their favourite memories appear on screen in real-time.
Moving to a Brand New Home
On the 30th of August, the park announced that it is set to close on the 3rd of January next year. It would be the exact date the park will be celebrating its 52 years after its opening in 1971.
At present, the park's staff and avian residents are already preparing to move to a brand-new home. Their new home will be in Bird Paradise at Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
