To celebrate this year’s Children’s Day, Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) has introduced the first-ever Kids (& Parents!) Virtual Race event! This event will be happening over the weekend from 9 – 11 October and hopes to be a fun-filled weekend bonding activity for families. Participants can look forward to a fully virtual event where they can race alongside their children in two different categories, 1.5km or 3km.
The event will be hosted on the SCSM Virtual Club (VC) platform, which is an all-in-one engaging and rewarding platform that includes weekly races and challenges, an online store with redeemable rewards, training and nutritional resources, and performance tracking. The event will be available for registration via the SCSM VC platform, where participants can sign up for the event among other offerings currently available, such as the SCSM Virtual Racing Series. Participants will have to create an account to sign up for either of the categories, and are encouraged to create a separate account on behalf of their child, so both parent and child can earn their very own set of badge collection! The race will be tracked via a tracking app, so participants will have to connect their Virtual Club accounts to the app for the race to be recorded.
