We take everything we see and read and hear on the Internet with a grain of salt—it’s a lesson we all learn the hard way, sooner or later. But once in a while we come across something so repulsive that we can’t help but stop, take a moment, and contemplate what the world has gotten to.
There is a video that is making its rounds online which depicts a woman walking the streets of New York City naked while her husband films the whole thing. Various online sources claim that this is an act of penance on the wife’s part after her husband caught her sending nude photos to other men.
In the video, the alleged husband chides the woman to take off her towel before ripping it off of her himself.

“Now the guys you’re talking to will see if you’re worth it, talking to seven men while I was with you,” he says while cursing and calling her names. “Do you really think I’m going to stay with you while you’re sending and receiving naked pictures, you damn b****?”
She asks for the towel back a couple of times, but her husband refuses her pleas each time.
“This is what you deserve,” he tells her.
At its core, the video promotes, however obliquely, the idea of abuse, that it is all right to treat woman (specifically your own wife) in a disgusting manner.
Just last year, a staggering 1.4 million women suffered from domestic abuse in the world, and this figure only reflects those that were officially reported to the authorities—many more women suffer in silence.
Although the veracity of the video is yet to be proven—and we can all agree that the adulterous wife’s misdeed is not at all worthy of praise—we can’t help but cringe at the clip’s maliciousness intent.
Regardless of the marital crimes that have been committed, no one deserves to be humiliated in such a way.
Mommies, you can catch the video below and see for yourselves. A warning, though: it is pretty graphic, and strong language is used profusely.
