Mattel (NASDAQ: MAT), one of the largest toy makers in the world, announced today the Hot Wheels® “Challenge Accepted” Championship! Held annually, the Hot Wheels® SEA Championship seeks to foster creativity and build young boys’ and girls’ experimentation and competitive spirit. This year, the Championship will be held virtually.
With over 50 Years of Accepting Challenges, Hot Wheels® believes that the challenges the brand provide through competition, creativity and experimentation help children build the skills and confidence they need to take on the world.
Split into the Junior and Senior categories; the Championship calls for the most creative video entries from young Hot Wheels® fans to build their very own Hot Wheels® track! Ten qualifiers from each competing category from the video entry submissions will then compete in the Singapore finals.
After which, five finalists from each category can stand a chance to represent Singapore for the virtual Southeast Asia Hot Wheels Championship in October!

To qualify for the “Challenge Accepted” Championship 2021, incorporate at least one household item into your very own unique Hot Wheels® track while ensuring a minimum rubric of the first drop, one loop and a suspension bridge.
Using more household items on your Hot Wheels® track can set you on the fast track to racking up more points! What’s more, up the stakes and score higher if you build your Hot Wheels® track at your favourite outdoor location to land a spot high up the scoreboard!
Unleash your child’s creativity and submit a creative video with your Hot Wheels® car launch completing stunts on the Hot Wheels® track! All qualifiers and finalists from each category can stand a chance to win attractive prizes from Hot Wheels® and Mattel!
The Hot Wheels® “Challenge Accepted” Championship 2021 will be open to participants aged between 5 to 12 years old. To take part, participants will need to purchase $10 worth of Hot Wheels products from participating retail stores, Mattel Official Shopee Mall or Lazada Mall websites to receive a valid competition entry.
Submit all contest entries through the QR Code provided in the contest template and accompanied by a snapshot of the receipt for the Hot Wheels® product purchased. Submissions will close on 12 September 2021, 11.59 pm. Terms and conditions apply.
