7 easy homemade masks for parlour-like hair

Who doesn't crave for a long luscious mane? So much so that we are ready to do anything to flaunt that.

But most of us will agree that it is a difficult task to complete. We tell you that it ain't rocket science.

Some simple tips and tricks at home can get you have those envious locks.

We bring to you seven easy homemade masks that you can try out over weekends to have a dream come true.

Yoghurt

Yoghurt

Yoghurt is known to provide deep conditioning and it makes for the easiest hair mask. Take a bowl full of yoghurt and apply all over your scalp. Let it settle down for 20 minutes before rinsing it with warm water.
Avocado mask

Avocado mask

Since they are rich in omega 3 fatty acids, avocados can prove to be wonderful for your hair. To make a hair mask, mix a ripe avocado with one tablespoon of honey and olive oil and make a smooth paste out it. Now massage the rich paste into your damp hair and let it stay for 45 minutes before washing it off.
Milk and egg mask

Milk and egg mask

Milk and eggs make for a deadly combination when it comes to haircare. Mix one egg white with milk and make a fine concoction. Apply it from roots to the strands and let it stay for 20 minutes. You can also wrap up your hair with a warm towel for better results. Rinse off with a shampoo so that your hair don't stink of eggs.
Coconut cream mask

Coconut cream mask

Churning out that cream from the coconut's shell might get a bit tedious but the after effects will make the hardwork seem futile. So once you have the cream ready, melt some of it in your palms to massage it into your hair strands. Wrap up your hair with a warm towel and relax for some time. Wash it off after 20 minutes.
The banana mask

The banana mask

You might find the mask a little messy to make, but trust us, it works. So mash up some bananas according to your hair volume. You can add few drops of almond oil to make a smooth base. Apply it to the scalp and wait for 20 minutes before you rinse off. Don't you now love the bounce?
Olive oil and lemon mask

Olive oil and lemon mask

If you have an itchy scalp besides dull hair, this hair mask will tackle both the problems at one shot. Make a concoction out of a tablespoon of olive oil, a tablespoon of lemon juice and water and massage it into your damp hair. While the mask soaks in, you can indulge in some reading. Rinse off with warm water.
Milk and honey mask

Milk and honey mask

This is one of the easiest masks you can nourish your hair with. All you need is a teaspoon of honey in a glass full of milk. Softly massage it into your hair, beginning from the roots to the strands. Let it settle down for 15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. Show off the shine, thereafter.
