Your Guide to Healthier SG: Preventive Care for Singaporeans

With Healthier SG, you’ll have access to subsidised healthcare services to help you stay well; or ensure that you detect health conditions early, so that you can manage them well.

Have you or your loved ones received a text to enrol in Healthier SG? Launched by the Ministry of Health, Healthier SG is a new initiative to help Singaporeans take care of their health. Through enrolling, you’ll receive additional support on your health, such as a free health plan and fully subsidised health screenings and vaccinations.

Here is what you need to know about Healthier SG and how to choose a clinic, such as any of our DA Clinics, as your family provider.

What Is Healthier SG?

Healthier SG is designed to empower you to take charge of your health, by working with your trusted family clinic. Most health conditions can be avoided or managed more effectively if you take proactive, preventive steps, such as going for your recommended health screenings or making healthy lifestyle changes.

With Healthier SG, you’ll have access to subsidised healthcare services to help you stay well; or ensure that you detect health conditions early, so that you can manage them well.

Who Can Enrol in Healthier SG?

Starting July, Singaporean citizens and Permanent Residents aged 60 and above will receive a SMS from MOH to enrol in Healthier SG.

  • Residents who are 40 and above with chronic conditions would also have been invited to pre-enrol in Healthier SG.

After this initial roll-out, Singaporeans between 40 – 59 will be invited to join Healthier SG and enjoy the benefits as well.

What Are the Benefits of Signing up With Healthier SG?

Healthier SG is designed to help you stay healthy and well, or support you in managing any potential health issues, before they worsen. Through Healthier SG, you’ll be able to get subsidised healthcare services, including:

  • A free first consultation with your chosen family doctor, as well as a health plan personalised to your health goals
    • You’ll also receive $20-worth of Healthpoints on the Healthy 365, after your first consultation
  • Fully subsidised nationally recommended screenings and vaccinations
  • From 2024, you may be able to get medication for chronic conditions at a subsidised rate, if you are a CHAS cardholder; and you’ll be able to use MediSave to pay for treatment, if you are under the Chronic Disease Management Programme

When Can I Enrol in Healthier SG?

You will receive a SMS from MOH when you’re eligible to enrol in Healthier SG. Currently, enrolment has been opened to residents aged 60 and above; and enrolment will be progressively rolled out to those between 40 – 59 years old.

How Do I Enrol in Healthier SG?

You’ll only be able to enrol after you’ve received a SMS from MOH, inviting you to join Healthier SG. Once you have, you can enrol in Healthier SG by:

  • Step 1: Login to HealthHub with your SingPass, and click on the ‘Healthier SG’ banner on the homepage
  • Step 2: Confirm your enrolment by clicking on the ‘Enrol to Healthier SG’ button
  • Step 3: Choose your preferred clinic
    • All 9 DA Clinics are part of the Healthier SG initiative. You can look up DA Clinic in the app’s search bar, and select the DA Clinic closest to your home

If you need help with signing up, you can also reach out to us over WhatsApp for assistance. We’re happy to guide you through the process!

Which Clinics Can I Choose as My Healthier SG Family Doctor?

You’ll only be able to choose clinics that are part of Healthier SG. The full list of available clinics can be found in the HealthHub app, when you receive an invitation to enrol. All DA clinics are certified as part of Healthier SG, and you can select any of them as your Healthier SG family doctor.

Having a family clinic can definitely help you take better care of your health, whether it’s improving your current health status or managing any health conditions.
