Get yourself checked for cancer

Other than offering selected beauty products at a lower price, Guardian would be the exclusive retailer giving out 30,000 Faecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT) kits in the month of March.

The FOBT kits can be obtained from 58 Guardian pharmacies islandwide, including branches at Serangoon NEX, Marina Bay Sands, Tampines Mall and IMM. Guardian pharmacists would also be on-site to provide advice on doing the tests in your own home. To further encourage the public to come forward and collect the test kits, a $10* Guardian voucher would be given with every collection of it.

*Applicable with purchase of $50 and above on Vitamins & Supplements, Diagnostic Kits, Rehabilitation Aids, Medical Support & Incontinence Range in a single receipt.

Colorectal cancer

Despite being one of the easiest cancers to detect, colorectal cancer is still one the top cancers in Singapore, especially among men aged 50 and above. Thus, for the fourth year running, Guardian Health & Beauty continues to support Singapore Cancer Society in raising awareness of this cancer among the public, with the objectives of saving lives and reducing treatment costs.

Like most cancers, colorectal cancer is curable when identified early. In 2010, more than 200 customers have benefitted from this giveaway, seeking treatment early and thus saving their lives. Guardian Health & Beauty aims to replicate such preventive measures annually, providing the public access to information and self- diagnostic test kits. Other diagnostic kits like Blood Glucose test strips, Diabetes test kits and Kidney Urinary Tract test kits are sold in Guardian stores too.

Health & Beauty Fair 2011

During the month-long Health & Beauty Fair 2011, enjoy up to 25% off selected health and beauty products at all Guardian stores islandwide. Beauty brands such as Bio-essence, SilkyGirl, Revlon and Nugeno (Men) as well as health brands like Brand’s and Blackmores are also participating in this fair by offering customers lower prices.

Furthermore, Guardian Health & Beauty will also be giving away limited edition tote bags and body-art tattoos with minimum purchases made at Guardian stores. Terms and conditions apply.
