Go Round the World with American Express

American Express is giving its cardmembers the once in a lifetime chance to travel across the globe with its “Round the World” draw. Launched today, the 12-week campaign will reward six lucky cardmembers with pairs of Singapore Airlines business class tickets that will take them on an exciting journey across three continents.

Keeping with its promise of providing exclusive benefits and unique experiences to cardmembers, the campaign included nine highly sought-after travel destinations around the world: Moscow, Houston, Frankfurt, San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul. Winners can select one of the six different flight routes that will take them on an ultimate trip through the world’s most exciting cities.

“American Express knows our cardmembers are passionate about shopping, dining and travel and we are committed to providing them with benefits that are relevant to their lifestyle. With this campaign, we want to reward cardmembers with unforgettable travel experiences for all the shopping and dining they do,” said Ms Yoshimi Nakajima, Singapore Country Manager for American Express.

Cardmembers earn 1 chance at the draw with every S$10 spent on American Express Cards^, in Singapore and overseas. Those looking to increase their chances of winning can spend strategically at participating partners such as ION Orchard, Singapore Airlines or The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, where every S$10 spent gives them 2 chances. Additionally, every new basic and supplementary card approved during the campaign period gives the basic cardmember 10 chances to win. One winner will be picked every two weeks over the 12-week campaign period.

American Express is also making it easier to spend this festive season, with attractive SELECTS X’mas offers coming up and Asian Masters 2012 kick starting in November. A month-long gastronomic and lifestyle celebration, the Asian Masters features a variety of gourmet activities in which American Express Cardmembers can enjoy priority reservations and 15% savings.
