Getting That Perfect Post-Baby Body

2 min read

Have you often wondered why it seems so easy for many celebrities to gain back their old figure just a few weeks after childbirth? It’s easy to think that only a blessed few have the ability to do this. Some even think that there’s some sort of a magic formula that allows them to shed off the extra pounds so easily. But model Gisele Bundchen revealed in a Daily Mail article that getting that perfect post-baby body has nothing to do with magic.

The 29-year old model from Brazil gave birth to her son Benjamin in December last year, and within  just a few weeks after childbirth, she was ready to walk the runway again. Gisele revealed that her healthy lifestyle during pregnancy has a lot to do with the how she regained her old figure.

While pregnant with Benjamin, she exercised regularly and even did kung fu until two weeks before her due date. She also did yoga three times weekly. The lovely model also said that a lot of women eat all sorts of junk during pregnancy and expect to get back their old figure right after they deliver their babies. This, she said, is just not possible. Gisele proudly revealed that she was very careful about what she ate while pregnant that is why she only gained 30 pounds.

So there you have it, mommies. It takes a lot of hard work and discipline for you to have that perfect body after pregnancy. Lying on the couch with only your hands busy with the remote will not get you your old figure back. Stop wishing and start working!
