The company behind the growing trend of fitness watches, Fitbit, has launched their new line of products; the Blaze and Alta fitness watches. Something to be really excited about, mummies (and daddies)!
Fitbit was founded in 2007 and has since been creating wearable products such as watches and accessories to track health and fitness goals. Their mission is to inspire and motivate individuals to live a more healthier and active life through their products.
The first of the two, the fitness watch, Fitbit Blaze offers four breakthrough features. Namely, Purepulse Heart Rate, Connected GPS, On screen Workouts and Colour Touchscreen. Fitbit has also recently worked with one of Singapore’s leading fitness app, FitStar, to produce the On Screen Workout feature.
Purepulse also comes with a bunch of benefits such as monitoring your calorie burn 24/7, maintaining intensity, maximising your training and optimising health. No kidding, you can even set weight goals and the Purepulse will compare calories in VS calories out!

Fitbit Alta features a more ladylike design, and has lesser features as compared to Fitbit Blaze. This fitness wristband comes in a variety of colours and unlike Fitbit Blaze, it doesn’t come with these features; Floors Climbed tracking, Multi-Sport, Continuous Heart Rate tracking and music control.
Alta also comes with a long battery life. You can wear them for up to 5 days without charging!
Alta is also more suited for everyday fitness tracking, as compared to the Fitbit Blaze, that uses workouts to track your lifestyle. So for the more physically active ones, Fitbit Blaze is recommended as Alta improves your overall health by the activities that you carry out everyday.
These two Fitbit watches can also make calls and receive text notifications, as well as provide alarms, letting it become an all-rounded tasking device.
