60 FairPrice Outlets Offer Free Dates, MILO & Yoghurt Drinks For Ramadan 2021

Ramadan in Singapore has been made extra special this year. To celebrate the festival and help Muslims shoppers break their fast, 60 FairPrice Outlets all over Singapore are offering free snacks and drinks. 

FairPrice stores will distribute beverages with dates and other snacks to their Muslim customers. A total of 60 stores will participate island-wide, up from the a total of 58 outlets last year.

In addition to the dates and snacks, for this Ramadan in Singapore, FairPrice will also hand out beverages including MILO and Ambrosial Yoghurt drinks. 

Dates will be pre-packed in individual bags for Muslim shoppers to collect, according to a FairPrice press release. 

This initiative has been part of FairPrice’s annual community outreach programme since 2009. This Ramadan will be the 13th year in Singapore that FairPrice has provided free dates, snacks, and beverages to Muslims.

Break Fast With FairPrice For Ramadan In Singapore: Until When & Where

Free snacks and drinks will be available 30 minutes before and after the time of breaking fast. It will be offered in stores throughout Ramadan island-wide in Singapore until 12 May. Customers can collect the beverages, dates or snacks at designated booths in stores.

If you’re near any of the listed FairPrice outlets and are fasting for Ramadan in Singapore, make sure to grab a snack! But don’t forget to adhere to safety measures in place, as FairPrice also reminded the customers. 

Halal-certified Products Also Offered by FairPrice

FairPrice has more in store to commemorate Ramadan in Singapore.

At the moment they are offering close to 7,000 Halal-certified products,  sourced from Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, and Vietnam. These retail Halal hot delicatessen products and are certified by MUIS.

Additionally, about 26 FairPrice stores will also have Halal Corners. 

Make sure to take a look out for them if you’re fasting yourself this Ramadan. And don’t forget to stay safe while you shop and enjoy the festivities.
