True enough, the TreeTop Walk is not only a unique attraction but also serves an important purpose in forest canopy research.

As the first of its kind in Singapore and the region, it offers visitors the chance to trek through the treetops of a mature secondary forest, providing a unique perspective on the natural beauty of Singapore’s flora and fauna.

Additionally, the walkway, which is approximately 250 meters long and varies in height, with the highest point reaching 25 meters above the forest floor, provides researchers with access to areas that were previously off-limits.

Basically, this allows for more extensive surveys and plant identification work that contributes to a better understanding of forest ecosystems.
