Singapore Emergency Number For Medical Emergencies

In case a medical emergency happens to you or someone in your household, you must apply first aid as instructed by the Civil Defence Emergency Handbook if you are no longer in danger or in a good condition to do so. Otherwise, you better call 995 for emergency services.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) has a free ambulance for the following emergencies: 

  • Accident with bruising
  • Active seizure
  • Asthma
  • Bone fracture
  • Breathlessness
  • Cardiac arrest
  • Cut with bleeding
  • Elderly with a chronic medical condition
  • Emergency labour
  • Head injury
  • Major trauma
  • Mild injury
  • Persistent fever
  • Severe allergy
  • Sick children
  • Stroke
  • Swelling
  • Unconsciousness

On the other hand, if you need an ambulance for non-emergency concerns, you can get treatment at clinics or call 1777 for the SCDF ambulance service.

You will need to pay about $274 for non-emergency medical conditions, such as the following: 

  • Chronic cough
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhoea
  • Skin rash
