Doctor for a Day and Hospital Land for little future doctors only @Mount Elizabeth Novena!

Mount Elizabeth, Novena brings back their immensely popular Doctor for a Day program, as well as a new program –Hospital Land – this year. Keep reading for more details...

Doctor for a Day

The littlest doctors ever!

Mount Elizabeth Novena’s Doctor for a Day program last year, was extremely popular with little ones who perhaps would like to be doctors when they grow up. This program is the epitome of role-play for little ones and gives them a little taste of what it’s like to be a doctor, for real!

This year, Mount Elizabeth Novena goes a step further and introduces ‘Hospital Land’, where kids get to experience an amazing occupational-centric experience!

The good news is that your kids can choose to participate in either the Doctor for a Day program or Hospital Land, which are both tailored to meet all your child’s edutainment needs.

But before we tell you when exactly these programs will be held and other important details, here’s a glimpse of what little ones did in the Doctor for a Day program last year.

Doctor for a Day

A future doctor in the making?

The Doctor for a Day program

Kids got to role-play as doctors in a hospital setting complete with scrubs and hair-nets!

Among other activities, they bathed, cleaned and diapered a baby and conducted pretend surgery in an operating theatre.

Their day started off with the donning of scrubs and hair-nets. They were taught how to wash their hands thoroughly. After that they learnt how to use a stethoscope and then it was off to the nursing room!

Role play: looking after babies!

They were then taken to the operating theatre where they got to role play as surgeons and treat a make-believe patient!

After their ‘busy’ day of being a doctor was done, the kids got to wear white coats and take a group graduation picture. They also received a goody bag and a certificate.

The kids’ parents commented on how enriching and fulfilling the day had been for their kids, and that they were very impressed at how Mount Elizabeth conducted the program.

Doctor for a Day

Pretending to be surgeons!

Through this program, the hospital aims to educate children aged 4 to 10 about the medical industry, and do so in a fun and interactive way.

Mount Elizabeth hopes that both the Doctor for a Day program and Hospital Land will inspire kids to become medical professionals in the future!

If you would like your child to be a part of this educational and fun experience, the registration details are provided below. But you’ll have to hurry because slots are limited!
