The exhibition offers visitors the rare opportunity to experience over 90 magical years of Disney animation. One of the highlights of the show is the debut of original artworks from the highly-anticipated film, Frozen 2.

Showing for the first time in Southeast Asia, the exhibition will give families a chance to see exceptional art pieces, drawings, and sketches. Moreover, the show will also have interactive exhibitions and projections to transport visitors into the magical world of Disney. Original artworks from “Frozen 2” are also set to make their exhibition debut at ArtScience Museum on 26 October.
Presented in five chapters, the show begins with the early Disney years with the introduction of new animation techniques. In this section, families will get to experience the bold technological innovations which allowed Disney animators in the 1930s to capture nuances of people and animals’ movements and idiosyncrasies more accurately.
For parents wanting to relive their Disney memories, Disney: Magic of Animation includes highlights of its original artworks such as Steambot Willie (1928) which is the first Disney cartoon with sychronised soundtrack, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and Sleeping Beauty (1959). But not to worry, concept art from newer film blockbusters such as Frozen (2013), Zootopia (2016) and Moana (2016) will also be screened for the younger ones.
