Delightful Bacon Wrapped Recipes!

Are your kids huge fans of savoury-salty bacon strips? Wondering what else can you do with it besides serving with eggs and toast for breakfast?

Turns out, we, at theAsianparent are crazy over bacon too! So here, we've put together our favourite bacon wrapped recipes available on the Internet.

Bacon wrapped sweet potato

Bacon wrapped sweet potato

Simply slice the sweet potato into finger size lengthwise and wrap with bacon. Put in an oven that has been pre-heated at 220C.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the sweet potato is soft.

Bacon Wrapped Boiled Egg

Bacon Wrapped Boiled Egg

Prepare soft boiled eggs by putting eggs in boiling water for 2 minutes and then removing from the shell. Wrap uncooked bacon around soft boiled eggs. Use toothpicks to keep bacon wrapped around the eggs while you fry.

Dip bacon eggs in beaten raw egg and dip in bread crumbs. Fry until bacon is crispy and breading is golden brown. Remove toothpicks before serving.

Get cooked sweet Japanese corn, remove the husk and wrap in bacon. Place on a hot grill until bacon is browned. Keep glazing with melted butter while grilling.

Bacon Wrapped Baked Egg

Line the bottom and sides of cupcake/muffin pan with bacon. Preheat oven at 200C. Pour egg into bacon cups and season with salt, pepper. Put the pan in the oven and let bacon and eggs bake for 15-20 minutes.

Bacon Wrapped Fish

Choose tilapia or snapper for this recipe. Season fish with olive oil and herbs like thyme or rosemary (can be dried), plus a dash of salt and pepper. Wrap in bacon and grill on medium/high heat for 5-6 minutes.

Wrap baby potatoes and bacon and hold with toothpicks. Bake for 40 minutes until bacon is crisp and potatoes are tender.

Bacon Wrapped Pineapple

Bacon Wrapped Pineapple

Wrap pineapple chunks in bacon and hold with toothpicks. Make a glaze by mixing 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup honey, juice of 1 lime, 2 tsp soy sauce, 2-4 tsp of hot sauce. Dip bacon wrapped pineapple chunks in the glaze. Bake in preheated oven at 200C for 25 minutes.

Bacon Wrapped Avocado

Slice avocados and wrap in bacon. Cover with a mixture of 1/3 cup brown sugar and 1/2 tsp chili powder. Place on a pan and bake in oven preheated at 220C. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
