19 Apr, 2016

Here's a list you never knew you needed! No more spending unnecessarily on anything anymore!

9 Daiso products that are so worth your $2

9 Daiso products that are so worth your $2

Daiso has been the go-to store for Singaporeans who are looking for cheap-everything! This convenience store from Japan sells everything at a static price, regardless of size and product purpose. I mean, $2 everything? Why not?

You're looking for a completely new but cheap cutlery set? Daiso! You're looking for cheap but good (not even kidding!) make up? Daiso!

Still not convinced? Here's our list of reasons on why you should spend $2 on a Daiso product as compared to anywhere else.

Badminton Set

The Badminton Set consists of one racket and one shuttlecock, which to be honest, it is the ultimate value-for-money item you can find in Daiso. Sure, it won't turn you into a professional but come on, you'll be all badminton ready after just spending $2! All you've got left to do is get into the right attire and you're good to go!

Caramel Corn

This caramel corn tidbit is a must-buy for almost everyone who visits Daiso. Some even come to Daiso for the sole purpose of getting this! Its salty and sweet taste combination and puffiness is so addicting, it can actually serve as a form of comfort food.

In most Daiso stores in Singapore, there are usually 2 full racks filled with just this! Heads up, this product contains peanuts and lard!

Charcoal Peel Off Mask

The Charcoal Peel Off Mask has been tried and tested on quite a number of beauty videos and websites and is probably one of the most talked about product from Daiso. Made in Korea from all natural ingredients, it minimises facial pores, removes oil and dirt and leaves your skin smooth and soft.

It has received countless positive reviews and thumbs up that its shelves have to be restocked every single day!

Compression bags

Personally, Daiso is the only place where I would purchase my compression bags. Not only do they work perfectly well, they also come in various sizes. Some can go as big as 100cm x 110cm!

Heat packs

Heat packs for $2?! Does that spell value-for-money or what? Daiso's heat packs work in a matter of minutes and are beneficial for travelling to cold countries or even if you're just not a fan of cold temperatures in general!

Makeup products

There are panels after panels of make up products in Daiso. They have toners, foundations, eyeliners and all of them come in different shades and types, to suit different preferences. Many are skeptical about this because naturally, we think cheap make up doesn't equals to good results.

However, the make up products at Daiso have been tried and tested by beauty gurus and they too, like the previously mentioned charcoal mask, have received positive reviews!

Plastic organisers

How often do we head to convenience stores in search for plastic organisers only to get surprised at how expensive they are? Some can even go up to $16 just for one! Daiso plastic organisers are long-lasting and they come in a wide variety of choices, all for just $2 each!

Tissues

Be it tissues or wet wipes, Daiso sells good quality ones. They even come in different scents like orange or lemon! Their wet wipes also do not have a rough texture. They come in different packaging sizes and are especially convenient for travelling purposes.

Tweezers

Ever bought an over $5 pair of tweezers only to be frustrated that it either doesn't work or in some cases, breaks after 3 tries? I have! Daiso tweezers are not only long lasting, it's actually better than most of the other tweezers out there. Yes, it may not work as well as the branded ones but it sure does its job well!

Mummies, if you have any other items to recommend from Daiso, do share them with us!
