Take the stress out of planning for a family getaway with an all-inclusive holiday at Club Med Bali!
Club Med Bali is one of the most popular destinations for a relaxing and hassle-free family holiday. Famously known for their unique ‘all-inclusive’ holiday concept, you can look forward to a holiday where everything is taken care of – from a host of fun activities for the whole family to superb food, drinks, snacks and childcare services.
The Club Med Bali resort is located in Nusa Dua on the South-East coast of the picturesque island of Bali. Surrounded by the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean with faraway views of the Batur Volcano and terraced paddy fields, Club Med Bali is the perfect choice for families looking to explore all the beauty that the Island of Gods has to offer.
Here are some things that you and your family can look forward to during your stay at Club Med Bali:
Start your day at a leisurely pace by heading down to the main bar next to the pool. Take a seat at the terrace lounge and relax with a refreshing drink while taking in the panoramic sea views.
At sundown, the main bar transforms into a hip and happening party place with a DJ spinning the hottest hits. Get ready to swing the night away!
The Mandara Spa at Club Med Bali is set to give you rejuvenating experience that will ease your mind and calm your senses. Choose from an extensive list of massage treatment inspired by ancient Asian healing rituals. Once you are done with your relaxation session, you can head out to the outdoor ‘Quiet Pool’ to enjoy some quiet time.
At the main restaurant of Club Med Bali, a delectable selection of dining delights awaits you and your family at the buffet area. Take your pick from cuisine choices such as Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indian, Western and local fares.
You’ll have the option to enjoy your meals with your family at the Terrace Patio which is nicely shaded from the sun and rain or to head to any of the 4 dining rooms.
At Club Med Bali, kids of all ages get to enjoy themselves with an exciting line-up of activities hosted by the friendly Gracious Organisers (G.O.). From playgroup sessions to sports and excursions to various attractions on the island, these activities are organised according to the following age groups:
– The Baby Club (4 months old to 23 months old)
– The Mini Club (4 years old to 10 years old)
– The Junior’s Club (11 years old to 17 years old)
Open from 8:30 am to 5 pm, parents may leave their little one (ages 4 months to 23 months old) at The Baby Club. There, the little guest will enjoy one activity after another that falls under the day’s theme (Adventure Day, Fun with Nature Day and more).
While the activities may vary, Club Med makes sure that your little one is well taken care of and that apart from engaging him in fun activities, that he is served a delicious lunch, is able to rest during his afternoon nap time and is given a snack and more activities to do until you come to pick him up.
However, to truly ensure that your child stays happy and smiling all day long, the G.O.’s request that parents pack a “Fun bag” for their little one containing a swimming suit, hat, sunscreen, shoes, extra clothes, a water bottle, your child’s teddy or comfort toy, nappies, baby wipes and whatever else your child might need.
For the more grown up children, sign them up for The Mini Club which takes care of children ages 4 years old to 10 years old. Like The Baby Club, the Mini Club is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm for dinner.
From arts and crafts, dance and yoga classes to daily sports tournaments with other children, your child’s day will be so jam-packed with activities that they’re to sure to have sweet dreams as soon as their head hits their pillow.
With all the activities going on, Club Med Bali understands that a parent may worry about their child’s safety which is why there are always 2 to 3 G.O.’s present for every activity. The G.O.’s are well trained with First Aid and can always turn to the resort’s in-house infirmary for help should the need arise.
Understanding that older kids usually sleep in and wake later than others, The Junior’s Club is open from 10:00 am to 8:45 pm. After a quick welcoming ceremony where participants all get acquainted with one another, the young teens and pre-teens can enjoy a day filled with tennis, snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking and more.
As if that wasn’t enough, the young guests can enjoy down time with their new friends during tea time or over a delicious dinner. After which, they gather once again for a final activity before calling it a day.
There’s so much to see and do during your stay at Club Med Bali. Book a day-trip to various places of interest around the island to discover the enchanting Balinese way of life.
Go on a full-day trip to Borobodur in Central Java to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, or take time to explore Kintamani to visit the largest Hindu temple in Bali and quaint villages which specialises in wood carving and batik handicrafts.
If you’re looking for something more adventurous, you can opt to go rafting on Ayung River through the breathtaking waterfalls and lush tropical jungle.
Do note that you have the option to add on some of these activities to your stay package at Club Med Bali at a small fee.
