The “Flight of the Moth Orchid” located at Cloud Forest in Singapore is a tribute to the Phalaenopsis orchid. It is said that the flowers are arranged to resemble a moth in flight, such as its title.

The 280 sq m space is the first majorly revamped spot in Gardens by the Bay’s Cloud Forest in Singapore. The “Flight of the Moth Orchid” is the first of the displays prepared as Cloud Forest will host both permanent orchid exhibits and changing orchid installations.
The development of the new space actually began last year but was delayed due to the pandemic.

“Our latest creation Orchid Haven is a way for our horticulturists to pay tribute to the nation on its 56th birthday, and amidst the current setback, the Flight of the Moth Orchid display expresses our confidence that Singapore will soar again in our battle against the pandemic,” says the park’s chief executive, Felix Loh, as per The Straits Times.
Don’t miss out on seeing this beautiful display and bring the entire family along to personally view the picturesque floral installations.
