City Square giant cake!

City Square Mall , Singapore ’s first eco mall, turned one today and organised a Birthday Bash for shoppers to join in the celebrations. Shoppers also enjoyed a slice of the giant “Grandma” Chocolate Birthday Cake at the cake cutting ceremony. City Sunshine Club (CSC), CDL’s staff volunteer programme and City Square Mall also hosted children from Dreams @ Kolam Ayer for this special occasion.

Fun Facts about City Square Mall’s Giant Birthday Cake:

–          The Chocolate Cake weights 8kg

–          The Royals Café, one of City Square Mall’s tenants, baked the giant cake

–          5kg of flour and 30 eggs were used to bake the cake

–          The cake was served to over 200 visitors and shoppers at the mall

City Square Mall has transformed into CandyVille with candy-related family entertainment events scheduled until 10 April. On-going activities include a weekend Candy Cone Hat Eco Workshop for children and special weekday lunch time promotions by City Square Mall’s tenants. There is also a special Count the Lollipops Contest where shoppers can stand a chance to win $1,000 worth of shopping vouchers. An additional $1,000 worth of shopping vouchers, together with the lollipops will be donated to a charity organization.
