It can be pretty hard to figure out what children really want from their parents, as some parents find it easier to try and “buy” love from their kids by buying them all the toys and things that they want instead of spending quality time with them. Your children’s emotional needs should always come first before their material needs as it helps bring the family closer and lets your kids know that you’re someone that they can always lean on and look to for help in case they have problems.
