Daddy Loves You: Heart-warming New Children’s Book that Explains Why Dad Isn’t Always Around as Much as He’d Like

Daddy Loves You: Heart-warming New Children’s Book that Explains Why Dad Isn’t Always Around as Much as He’d Like

Kyle Wilson’s Daddy Loves You has been written specifically for dads and families where dad isn’t an everyday part of life, whether that’s due to divorce, working away from home, addiction, incarceration, or a host of other reasons.

A long-needed and helpful addition to children’s literature, Daddy Loves You assists young children to understand why dad isn’t around all the time.

Author, Kyle Wilson, provides an honest explanation for the plethora of reasons for a father’s absence.  Explaining that the situation is in no way a reflection of the father’s love for his child, the author’s wise words are made even more impactful when joined by the resonating illustrations of Gayatri Ray.

Aimed at three to eight-year-olds, Daddy Loves You is a book that older readers will return to time and time again for comfort and solace.  It is also a welcoming addition to family bookshelves, as well as a helpful supplement to primary school libraries.

Why are some good dads not around? Is it their jobs? Or could it be something more?

Daddy Loves You explains to children ages 3-8 some of the reasons why their dads might not physically be there to spend time with them. It does a great job explaining the different scenarios on their level. And most importantly, that love is never the issue.

Here’s one of the reviews about the book from Amazon:

“This heart-warming story is perfect for children whose dad is not around very often, or even at all. It will help them to know they are not alone in missing their dad. It will also help them to see things from their dad’s perspective, hopefully realizing it is not as easy for him either.”

Independently published, Daddy Loves You is available in paperback and Kindle format on Amazon at https://amzn.to/3hXKtPB and https://amzn.to/3I7qmZY.
