Smiling Danny
I couldn’t help but shed some tears while reading about the death of little boy who was such a great kids when he was still alive.
Little Danny died at the age of 4 but already achieved what others are still trying to discover even at an old age – the joy of living. Danny Stanton died of a seizure just 14 days before Christmas. While some are asking how he died, many are talking about how he lived.
Danny was an ambassador in his neighbourhood. Wherever he went, he was just spreading joy. He high-fived elderly people, befriended the shy kids in school, encouraged the lonely, impressed people with his baseball skills and most of all hugged anyone who needed to feel loved. He was definitely wise for his age.
In his latest journal entry, Danny wrote about the things that he was really thankful for during Thanksgiving this year. Unlike his friends who wrote that they were thankful about food, Danny wrote that he was grateful for every member of his family. His parents, teachers and those who knew him said that he seemed very content with life.
It’s amazing to hear stories about little children who are able to make a big difference in the lives of others even at an early age.
