10 bistros/pubs in Singapore with play-areas and activities for kids!

27 Jun, 2014

Parents, don't you wish there was a place where you could sit back and relax with a great drink (or 2!) and delicious food... a place which also has adequate space and toys for the kids to play? Does it all sound like a dream?

Well, it's not! We bring you not 1, but 10 pubs/restaurants with play-areas and activities for kids!

So get ready to chill with a glass of wine, beer or something fancier this weekend, and click 'next' to read about where you can go to do so!

La Barca Ristorante & Wine Bar - $$

La Barca Ristorante & Wine Bar - $$

Hidden away in Katong, La Barca Ristorante & Wine Bar is a stunning restaurant set within the spacious grounds of the Goodman Arts Centre.

Elegant, understated and chic, it's also super kid-friendly and is a favourite hangout among families with children, with their weekend brunch menu being especially popular.

La Barca even has a special Kids’ Playroom where the little ones can play safely while their parents are dining.

The Playroom features a selection of reading material for kids of different ages, and toys and puzzles to keep the children entertained. There is also a changing mat for diapering.

Older kids can have a great time, too, on their scooters or rollerblades in the area just in front of La Barca's al frésco section, while mum and dad relax with good food and wine (it's not called a Wine Bar for nothing!).

Parents, do note that The Playroom is only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
