Starring legendary actor Choi Minsik in his first return to TV in over 25 years, season one of Big Bet transfixed audiences with its explosive storyline that led the show to become the most watched locally produced original series on Disney+ in Korea (based on hours streamed) in its premiere week (December 21-27, 2022).
After a rollercoaster first season that saw the rough and violent rise and potential fall of Korean casino mogul Cha Moosik, season two follows Moosik as he once again tries to save himself and the life he has built.
Returning today with a three-episode premiere, audiences can dive back into the action with a second series that promises to deliver even more heart-pounding action and unmissable storytelling.
Starring Choi Minsik as successful casino mogul Cha Moosik, Big Bet also stars Son Sukku (My Liberation Notes, Romance Without Love); Lee Donghwi, (Extreme Job, New Year Blues, Method Acting, Reply 1988), and Heo Sungtae (Squid Game, Adamas and Hunt), and is directed by Kang Yunsung (The Outlaws) – the winner of the Best New Director at the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards and the 23rd Chunsa Film Art Awards.
