Baby Ivan needs your help

There are many cries for help in our world. Some are heard while others are not. We received a call for help and thought that it would be a good idea to share the plight of baby Ivan as he is diagnosed with a heart disease. He needs your help. Read on to see if you have the capacity to offer some assistance.

A call for help:

[stextbox id=”grey”]

I’m writing this letter, in hope of helping to relieve some of my cousin’s and husband’s burden. I’ve known her all my life, I think she will be a
great mom, and the husband, Ricky, is the kindest and most helpful man I’ve ever seen. This is really a very, very big test from God.

Last 19th Oct, was supposed to be the most exciting and happiest day for them, as their first born, baby Ivan came into this world. However this
happiness was short lived as shortly after, baby Ivan was diagnosed with univentricular heart disease. Their whole world collapsed. The insurance
that they have started buying when my cousin was pregnant didn’t cover this.

To be honest, we don’t know the exact procedures to be done, but the only 2 things that we know are the 3 steps corrective surgery and “A LOT OF MONEY”.

Immediately the next day, 20th October, baby Ivan went through his first surgery. Like all surgeries, the critical period was the 24 hours that
followed. And 20th Oct was my cousin’s husband’s birthday but the poor man spent the day in the hospital crying while his first son fought for his
live.

Baby Ivan was very brave, and is recovering progressively in the hospital as you read this email. But the other thing that is also progressively
increasing is the hospital bill. To date, the bill is estimated to be about RM50k+ already, and baby Ivan is still not discharged yet. He’s still
recovering in Adventist hospital, Penang. Attached is a photo of Baby Ivan after the 1st surgery. There will be 2 more to go.

I’m doing this fund raising on behalf of my cousin. I know that there are a lot of fraud cases around, and in times like this, I can only assure you that this is genuine case. Alternatively you can also call Adventist hospital to check.

If you are in the position to help, be it whatever amount, big or small please do donate to this family. In times like this, emotional distress is already more than what they can handle, so please help to relieve some of the financial distress. Please do help to spread this around.

[/stextbox]

If you wish to contribute, we will get you in touch with the family. Please email [email protected]. Thanks for your prayers and support.
