Happy holidays!
Cadbury World in Burmingham

Cadbury World in Burmingham

If you thought Roald Dahl’s fictional chocolate factory was too good to be true, you were probably right, but in the real world, Cadbury’s Chocolate Factory in Burmingham is as close as you can get, and it’s pretty close!

They don’t have oompa loompas (unfortunately), but they do have an amazing Aztec jungle the kids can explore and even chocolate rides with chocolate swans!

In the chocolate factory, they show visitors how their chocolates are made, making this a nice educational tour for the kids as well. And if your family loves chocolates (Really, who doesn’t?), you can stock up on loads of it for the rest of the year!

Wildlife Safaris in Africa

Wildlife Safaris in Africa

Been to all the zoos and tired of caged animals? Show your children the true beauty and majesty of the animals who share the planet with us by visiting them in their natural settings.

This is a good opportunity for an educational and enriching lesson in respecting our earth's fragile biodiversity as well as an eye-opener for them as they get up close and personal with these wild animals.

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China

There is nowhere else in the world better to observe pandas than in Chengdu’s Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

The research facility welcomes visitors and aims to educate the public on conservation of these super cute giants. It currently houses hundreds of pandas of varying ages, including baby pandas who are still suckling at their mother’s teat.

Your children will love to feed the pandas and at the same time, develop a deeper understanding of the need for wildlife conservation of endangered species like them.

Visit the Shire in New Zealand

Visit the Shire in New Zealand

Hobbits do not exist, but the Shire, home of Frodo and Sam, does now. The original movie set that was used to stimulate the Shire as seen in the wildly popular Lord of the Ring has been left intact and tours can now be organized to visit the Shire in situ.

It’s a great, picturesque place to visit with the entire family and your children will be delighted to see the adorable little houses. You can even get a rest and a bite at the Green Dragon Inn that was featured in the movies!

The organizing company offers a huge variety of tours that you can pick from, depending on your preferences. Farm stays around the countryside are also available for a true Shire experience!
