Apparently, the bus at the end was the most damaged of all the vehicles involved.
According to Stomp, the bus driver was trapped under the steering wheel, and was unable to pull his leg out. A witness called the police and SCDF after he realised that the driver’s hand was bleeding.
The bus was carrying students and a teacher.
Three children aged 13, all passengers of the same bus, were taken to NUH for their injuries.
Witness Huat told Stomp, “It was quite sad that the drivers involved were preoccupied in taking photos of the damage on their vehicles first instead of checking on the injured.”
According to reports, the accident caused a massive traffic jam all the way up to Clementi.
Police are investigating the incident.
