With Deepavali, the festival of lights, coming up soon, some of you may be craving for some delicious fish tikka, warm naan, delectable samosas, and chicken masala.

But if you’re looking for somewhere a bit fancier than the neighbourhood coffee-shop, we’ve put together a list of 7 fancy Indian restaurants for you to go on that special romantic date or to bring your family for a lovely celebration.

Just a stone’s throw away from Orchard Road, this award-winning modern Indian restaurant offers luxurious fine dining in Singapore.

With some beautiful private rooms available for private functions, The Song of India also offers al fresco dining at their outdoor patio so you can have a sumptuous meal with a view.

Deepavali promotion: To celebrate Deepavali, they are offering a special Celebration Set Dinner for $59++ (from 1st – 15th November).

There is also a gourmet lunch buffet for $29.90++ on (Mon – Sat) and the Sunday brunch buffet for $39.90++.

This contemporary yet traditional restaurant is well-known for its authentically prepared, traditional Indian cuisine.

Their menu reflects the diverse regions across India with signature dishes such as Nalli Gosht, Mango Curry, and Bailey’s Irish Cream Kulfi.

Deepavali promotion: Light up your Deepavali at Tandoor with their scrumptious buffet of curries, kebabs, briyani and desserts. From 8th – 15th November, there will be a Lunch Set Menu at $48++ per person and Dinner Set Menu at $58++ per person, both set menus are inclusive of a glass of Chai Mojito.

On 8th, 10th and 15th November, there will be a Lunch Buffet at $48++ per person; and on 10th November their Dinner Buffet is $58++ per person, both buffets are inclusive of free-flow Mango Lassi and juices.

Rang Mahal

A legacy of fine dining since 1971, this fine dining restaurant serves traditional authentic Indian food with a menu which marries contemporary and heritage.

After undergoing a transformation in 2012, it has since reopened with a more elegant and timeless look, perfect for that romantic night out.

Deepavali Promotion: From 2nd – 11th November, there will be special platters available for lunch and dinner. The vegetarian platter is $118++ per person, and the non-vegetarian platter is $128++ per person.

The Celebratory Menu (9th – 11th November) is $35++ per person for lunch and $45++ per person for dinner.

There will also be Mitthais set available in the gorgeous Melange Edition 2015, ranging from $50+ to $98+.

Located in the iconic Raffles Hotel Singapore, Tiffin Room serves authentic North Indian specialties and also offers vegetarian options for non-meat diners.

Their signature dishes include Mild Chicken Curry, Raan Lamb, Tandoori Mushroom, Mulligatawny Soup, and Butter Chicken.

Set Meals and buffet: The delectable Thali set meals come in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options and are priced at $75++ per person for each set.

They also have a North Indian Curry Buffet for lunch, which is $60++ per adult and $35++ per child; and a the dinner buffet is $$75++ per adult and $40++ per child.

Deepavali Promotion: Celebrate this festive holiday with Yantra’s selection of home-made spiced nuts in custom-made boxes for $79, and their 12 piece box of freshly made mithais for $35.

There is also a lunch buffet (Fri – Sat) for $30++, or their popular "25 Dishes for $25++" lunch buffet (Mon – Thurs).
