Chef Lee Tong Kuon and his team have truly outdone themselves as they present a new gourmet experience that may make this a patron’s most unforgettable meal yet.

In celebration of Chinese New Year, TAO has come up with a festive selection of Chinese dishes - with a Thai twist - that is sure to tickle your family’s taste buds.

To start off, why not order TAO’s Supreme Prosperity Yu Sheng (S$128++ for 8 to 10 guests)? With no less than 18 ingredients, this classic New Year dish offers abalone, salmon roe, crispy deep-fried fish skin, fresh slices of mango, blueberries and more. For mom and dad, order the House of Golden Riches Yaowarat Pen Cai (S$318++ for 6 guests, and S$488++ for 10 guests). Another dish that falls along the lines of providing heat without compromising flavor is the Continuous Successes TAO Thai-Teochew Curry Crab (S$6++ per 100gram). Fresh Sri Lankan crabs are simmered over slow fire and glazed in the hot, delicious spice-accented gravy, giving off an aroma that is sure to have the entire table salivating even before the dish is put down.

On the other hand, if you want something that’s both easy on your palate while offering a kick, then order the Yuan-Yang Prawns(S$26++). Great for kids, this dish is comes with sweet tangy lime mayonnaise and hot spicy wasabi sauce.

Last but not the least is a dish that is highly-recommended for grandma and grandpa. As one gets older, they may want their food to be light, healthy and flavorful, something which the Pot Roasted Cod (S$38++) is. The White flakey cod is pot roasted with aromatics like garlic, coriander root and our unique TAO Seafood Asia essence.

Chinese New Year is definitely one of the biggest celebrations in the Chinese calendar, but truth be told, the food served at TAO Seafood Asia is reason enough to celebrate any day.
