"Mum, when are we getting my Halloween costume?" Wait, what? Did you just forget that Halloween is only 10 days away? Worry not, we just did your homework for you. Check out our guide to the best places in Singapore to shop for Halloween costumes, without burning a hole in your pocket.
Daiso

Daiso

Everybody’s favourite 2 $ store, Daiso, has some fun Halloween stuff. They might not be that big on costumes but they have cool capes and accessories like struck-by-a-cleaver headbands, wands, hats and eyewear that can get you looking sinister in no time.
Spotlight

Spotlight

Singapore’s super craft store, Spotlight, is a one stop shop for Halloween. They stock everything from costumes and Halloween themed decor, to Halloween treats and crafts. And they have the cutest ghost buttons. You might want to start shopping early, because when we last checked, some of the party decor and treats were neither available online, nor in stores.
Giant

Giant

Giant has a decent collection of Halloween stuff too, from costumes and decor, to accessories, scary masks and pumpkin pails. We found some cute and enticing treat ideas too, like scary lollipops, scary eggs and Halloween boxes. And the prices are good.
H&M

H&M

H&M has just unveiled its Halloween themed collection for ladies and kids.So for kids, you have printed tee shirts (S$7.90) and printed hooded tops and joggers (S$ 17.90) and even cute tube bat dresses (S$ 29.90) and themed shoulder bags (S$ 19.90). Women, can dress up in style with some cool printed jumpers (S$ 17.90), imitation leather shorts/ skirts and even fancy headband accessories and ‘evil’ backpacks (S$ 59.90). The upside? You can continue to use this stuff long after Halloween.
Cotton On Kids

Cotton On Kids

Cotton On Kids has jumped on the Halloween bandwagon too, offering super comfy halloween wear. Expect cute cape tees, tights, frilly skirts and accessories galore, including unicorn headbands. And wicked water bottles! Babies, don’t feel left out, for we just found spooky bibs and bodysuits, with socks and booties to match. Again, the outfits are super wearable,so you don’t have to lock them up after Halloween.
Toys R Us

Toys R Us

Kids favourite toy store, Toys R Us has some cool picks too like dental veneer and bleeding mini machetes. We spotted some super cute costumes for infants and toddlers too. Make up kits and party accessories and decor are also found in plenty here and seem to be pretty fairly priced.
Pan-In-The-Box

Pan-In-The-Box

Known as Singapore’s first Cosplay costume shop, Pan-In-The-Box is at The Central Shopping Mall #02-51, next to Clarke Quay MRT station. Party props such as masks, and wicked accessories such as skull head necklaces, wigs and costumes for children and adults are available throughout the year. They even have an online store. We found the costumes a bit pricey, but there are some really cool and affordable accessories that you might want to check out.
Lazada

Lazada

For those into online shopping, online store Lazada has an impressive and crazy range of costumes and accessories for Halloween. What’s more, they are selling them off at throwaway prices. Be it kiddie pumpkin costumes, vampire dentures, animal heads or even sexy ninja wear costumes, they seem to have it all, at drop dead prices to boot.
Ezbuy

Ezbuy

While on online stores, check out Ezbuy . They too stock an extremely affordable range of halloween wear for adults and kids. Pokemon Go lovers, we even chanced upon an adult Pikachu costume for S$ 14.98! Halloween color clown shoes are also selling for around S$ 14. We loved some of their accessories sets which are also super cheap. Plus, if you intend to throw a Halloween themed party, they have party supplies and decorations too, ranging from table ware to window decor and hanging lanterns. As with all online stores, you would have to plan well in advance and check their estimated delivery time.
Qoo10

Qoo10

Popular online store Qoo10 carries some cool stuff too. Apart from the usual suspects, we found bloody tattoos and parent-child matching costumes. Again, do check on the delivery period before making an order. You might also want to check sizes before ordering and read up on reviews and comments beforehand.
