XPENG Motors (NYSE: XPEV), a global leader in smart electric vehicles, officially unveiled the XPENG X9 Pro in Singapore on 7 May at an event hosted at XPENG Singapore Showroom. Building on the success of its flagship MPV, the XPENG X9, the refreshed model introduces upgrades across intelligent technology, performance, design, and in-cabin comfort, marking the next evolution of XPENG’s intelligent luxury MPV offering.
Attendees experienced the model’s best-in-class auto-parking capabilities firsthand, alongside chauffeured test drives around the neighbourhood, while enjoying family-oriented activities within the showroom. The X9 Pro will next take centre stage at The Car Expo 2026 on 9–10 May at the Singapore Expo, marking its first public preview.
At the core of the XPENG X9 Pro is XPENG’s proprietary Turing AI chip, making it the first model in Asia Pacific to feature the technology following its debut at XPENG AI Day 2024. Designed for autonomous driving and AI workloads, it delivers up to 750 TOPS of computing power, enabling faster and more intuitive performance across advanced driver assistance systems and smart cockpit functions.

Formidable Performance, Fast Charging
The XPENG X9 Pro is among the fastest charging vehicle in the market with up to 547kW of charging capability. Built on XPENG’s next-generation full-domain 800V high-voltage SiC platform, it is equipped with 5C ultra-fast charging technology, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in as little as 12 minutes*.
Available in two variants, the X9 Pro offers impressive range and performance capabilities. The Standard Range variant accelerates from 0–100km/h in 8.2 seconds and delivers a WLTP-estimated range of 535km. The Long Range variant achieves an acceleration of 0–100km/h in 8.2 seconds and delivers up to 615km.
A Refined Starship
The facelifted XPENG X9 features a more streamlined exterior design, with smoother, more aerodynamic lines that create a sleeker and more dynamic profile. This is accentuated by an angled windscreen and forward-leaning stance, while a larger rear window further improves airflow and overall driving efficiency.
At the front, the updated X-ROBOT FACE 2.0 design, XPENG’s signature futuristic styling, is paired with a supercar-inspired Active Grille Shutter (AGS) intelligent air intake system, which optimises performance and cooling.
Despite its generous proportions of 5,316mm by 1,988mm, the XPENG X9 Pro maintains a height of under 1.8 metres, ensuring everyday practicality and easy access to most carparks in Singapore.
First-Class Interiors
Inside, the XPENG X9 Pro offers a refreshed cabin with enhanced ambient lighting and premium finishes. Passengers in the first and second rows benefit from Nappa leather seats and zero gravity seats with 10-point massage functions, delivering greater comfort on longer journeys.
Flexible seating configurations allow the vehicle to adapt to different passenger and cargo needs, with boot space expanding from 721 litres to 2,554 litres, while still accommodating seven passengers, making it among the most spacious electric MPVs in its class.
A Smarter, Safer Drive
The XPENG X9 Pro introduces active rear-wheel steering, the only MPVs globally to feature this advanced capability. By allowing rear wheels to turn slightly, it enhances manoeuvrability at low speeds and stability at higher speeds. This delivers a more controlled and confident driving experience across different driving conditions.
Safety remains a core priority. All XPENG X9 Pro models are equipped with nine airbags, including a driver’s side remote airbag and second-row side seat cushion airbags, providing enhanced protection for all occupants. ISOFIX child seat anchor points are available in both the second and third rows, ensuring secure and convenient installation of child seats.
The price of XPENG X9 Pro (Standard Range) starts from S$336,999, and X9 Pro (Long Range) from S$347,999. The MPV will be available for test drives from 7 May onwards at XPENG Singapore Showroom.
XPENG Open House: 16–17 May
XPENG will host a public Showroom Open House on Saturday, 16 May and Sunday, 17 May, from 11am to 4pm. Guests will be among the first to test-drive the XPENG X9 Pro and experience the brand’s ultra-smart MPV, while enjoying a range of showroom activities and F&B refreshments.
