"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", goes the proverb.
Well, passengers on the Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Bali on November 5 can certainly attest to that!
Wife catches husband cheating
Apparently, this wife, also a mum, was flying from Doha to Bali with her hubby n child. When her husband was fast asleep, her instincts probably told her to check his phone.
She managed to unlock the phone using his fingerprint.
Only, all hell broke loose when her worst fears were confirmed. Her husband was indeed cheating on her!
The furious wife then started hitting her husband. On hearing the commotion, the cabin crew tried to intervene, but to no avail.
The situation must have escalated really badly, and gotten out of control, for the pilots actually decided to divert the plane and make an emergency landing at Chennai, a city in the south of India!
The Iranian family was taken off the plane, which then resumed its journey back to Indonesia.
After things calmed down a bit, the family was able to fly to Kuala Lumpur, where they boarded a flight back to Doha.
In a statement, an official from India’s Central Industrial Security Force confirmed the incident, “A lady along with her husband and a child, all Iranian nationals, were offloaded by Qatar Airline as the lady passenger (who was intoxicated) misbehaved with crew members in-flight.”
“They were sent to Kuala Lumpur by Batik Air flight 6019 for further travel to Doha.”
Meanwhile, Qatar Airways told the Times of India: “In respect of passenger privacy we do not comment on individual cases.”
