Toddler Bites Snake That Bit Her
In Turkey, a 2-year-old girl played with a snake she encountered in the backyard of her home. Unaware of the danger, she got bitten by the snake. Surprisingly, the toddler bites the snake back and ends up killing the reptile.
The incident occurred on the 10th of August at the Kantar village near Bingol, Turkey. During that time, the 2-year-old little girl was playing in their backyard. There, she encountered a 20-inch snake that bit her lip.
According to reports regarding the incident, their neighbours heard her screaming. Her high-pitch screams grew louder after the snake bit her lip. Upon hearing the child screaming, they immediately rushed to the house to check on her.
When they reached the backyard, the neighbours discovered that the bleeding bite mark on the toddler’s lip. In addition to this, they found the 20-inch snake that attacked her, stuck between her teeth.
The incident ultimately caused the snake to die. On the other hand, the girl survived after she was rushed to the hospital to treat her injuries.
She Played With the Snake Like a Toy
Shortly after the incident, the snake that bites the child eventually died. It was primarily because of the toddler’s revenge bite.
On the hand, they took the 2-year-old little girl to Bingol Maternity and Children’s Hospital to treat her injuries. Fortunately, the child was recovering well after hours under observation.
Mehmet Ercan is the father of the 2-year-old girl bitten by the snake. Unfortunately, he was at work when the incident happened. He heard about the whole ordeal from neighbours who witnessed the shocking turn of events.
Like his neighbours, the toddler’s dad was surprised to learn how the snake died. As parents, we can’t help but relate to this because his daughter’s reaction was unexpected.
According to experts, 12 out of 45 species of snake found in Turkey are venomous. Concerning this, the authorities are yet to discover the species of snake involved in the incident.
Since the kid is not in a severe condition, it is most likely that she was bitten by a non-venomous species.
