What you need to know about Warehouse Club by NTUC FairPrice

Do you know what a members-only retail warehouse is?
It’s a place where you can get groceries and household consumables — in bulk or wholesale quantities — often at discounted prices. US retail chain Costco's stores are examples of such warehouses.
The good news is that you need not travel to the US to experience the unique retail warehouse shopping experience — Singapore now has its very own retail warehouse, i.e. Warehouse Club (WHC) by NTUC FairPrice.
Learn more about Warehouse Club and why it is the ideal place for families to do their shopping in bulk and save money at the same time — just click 'Next' to get started!

What exactly is WHC?
WHC is a membership-based warehouse retail club and is the first and only one of its kind in Singapore.
Opened in 2014, and set on an area of 80,000 square feet, members of WHC will be able to benefit from bulk buys, value packs and exclusive access to direct import items, all at amazing prices.

Why ‘members only’?
At first, you may think that paying a membership fee to buy groceries and other items is unreasonable.
However, the savings that you get through WHC membership (discounts of up to 50%) usually are far greater than the cost of membership ($50 per annum for the public and $35 for NTUC Union members).
At present, over 12,000 people have signed up for WHC membership.
(If you're interested in becoming a member, you can download the membership form here).

Bulk purchases at WHC help you save money!
Although the range of products at WHC is not as wide as that of regular supermarkets (which carry between 15,000 to 20,000 items) or hypermarkets (around 20,000 to 30,000 products), you'll find that shopping there is still beneficial.
This is because you will have access to a smaller variety of good quality products in greater quantities, which ultimately means bigger savings.

So what exactly is on sale at WHC?
- Groceries: You’ll get to choose from a wide selection of bulk-packed grocery items like rice, oil, milk and many more items.
- Frozen food: From large tubs of ice cream for your kids’ next party, or meat patties for that neighbourhood party you’ve been meaning to throw, you can rest assured that WHC has it all!
- Fresh produce: If you have many mouths to feed (or a few mouths that come with large appetites!), then WHC is the ideal place to bulk-buy fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and seafood to meet your needs.
- Health and Beauty: WHC also offers a wide range of hair, body and skin care products which come in value packs, too, so you end up with lots of savings.
- Household consumables: You can buy frequently-used household consumables like toilet paper and detergent in bulk, and at great prices.

Besides providing its members with good-quality products and savings, WHC also promotes a love for the environment by placing customers' purchases in cardboard boxes.
You also have the option to buy recyclable bags, or make use of the plastic bags provided at no cost.
