The hour of merriment cometh,
As a baby boy takes shape.
After what seemed like days of royal baby watch, the Great Kate Wait is finally over. The news was only made public four hours after the birth as sources said that the couple informed members of family in private as they “just wanted to spend a little time together to bond as a family”.
The people of United Kingdom welcomed their beloved royal baby on a very eventful day just yesterevening, when a bout of violent of thunderstorms hit London after the hot spells of scorching summertime.
The news was revealed on an easel that stands in the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace in London to announce the birth of a baby boy, which was also used to announce William’s birth back in 1982.

Great Kate Wait
It is believed that Kate got pregnant in October last year. On December 3rd, the Duchess’s health took a turn for the worst when she was admitted to the hospital, suffering from a severe form of pregnancy-related sickness known as hyperemesis gravidarum. Fortunately, Kate made a full recovery.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who made it clear that she wanted a natural birth, was also believed to be up to a week overdue.

Proud parents Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their ‘beautiful’ baby boy at 4.24 p.m. British Summer Time (11.24 p.m. local time) yesterday, the 22nd of July, after 11 hours of labour. According to Daily Mail, Kate Middleton gave birth to a healthy 8lbs 6oz baby boy in the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
That same night, Prince William slept in a separate room from his wife and baby; and the family of three should be leaving the hospital this afternoon.
The royal baby has yet been named but will be given the title, His Royal Highness, and will be known as Prince (Name) of Cambridge, after a decree by the Queen earlier this year. The new prince is also third in line of succession, so that Prince Harry is now fourth, and the Duke of York fifth. But his sovereign will most probably not come for at least half a century or more.
The gender of the royal baby will not affect this line of succession, after recent legislations allowed female heirs to accede the throne as long as they are first born.

As Britain continues to celebrate their future king, the festive mood seems far from fading away.
The Queen has also declared herself “delighted” by this splendid news, together with The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, members of both families, and the rest of the kingdom.
Prince Charles also pretended to have received no news of the royal birth when questioned by well-wishers last night, as he said “Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild. It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy.
He continued, “Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone’s life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future.”
