It’s holiday time soon!
While the kids simply cannot wait for the first day of their vacation, we won’t be surprised if you’re panicking just a tiny bit. After all, there are ten days of holidays and the long Good Friday weekend to fill up with fun, games and meaningful activities for the whole family.
So, how would you feel if we told you that there are some seriously super exciting things happening in Sentosa this March? No kidding, a visit there during these holidays will indeed be an “Eggs-perience” to remember for the whole family.
As you get ready to head out to the State of FUN, we share our picks of the not-to-be-missed events.
1. Sentosa KidZ Flea 2016
Suited for kids who are between 7-12 years old, the Sentosa KidzFlea programme promotes the development of children’s entrepreneurial skills by giving them hands-on experience in selling new or pre-loved items.
So, get your kids down to support the event and have fun together hunting for treasures amongst a host of stalls selling everything from toys, to books to clothes or even one-of-a-kind handicrafts. At the same time, you will also be encouraging young kids in their first steps towards entrepreneurship.

2. Interactive Programmes
Be entertained by a whole lot of performances and join in the interactive session with Buddy Cool, Sentosa’s very own Beach Safety Ambassador, as he shares tips on Beach Safety.
Bubblicous: Get bubbly with Bubblicious. Catch them in their quirky outfits and their bubble-making machines!

Sun, Sea and Beach: Join in the interactive session with Buddy Cool as he shares about Beach Safety tips.

Draw and Be Drawn: Learn to draw portraits and funny one-line-drawings of the Merlion and be one of the lucky ones to be drawn by Peter Draw.

The J Show: Be amazed by the magic tricks of Jay, including his crystal ball juggling act.

Ali-PAPA: Laugh along with Ali-PAPA as he looks out for volunteers to help him in his magic show. Who knows YOU could be the one performing with him on stage.

Weekend Symphony: Tap your feet to the melodious sounds of the Jazz Band, Jazz Ensemble and Ska Band from Tanglin Trust School.
19 Mar, 4.30pm – 6pm.
The Glue: The Glue’s international reputation stands for idiosyncratic, non-conformist vocal music which aims for the highest possible level. Listen to imitations of French songs of the 60’s besides emo-rock blasts of the present age or timeless funk tunes.

3. Good Old Days
After spending some quality time at the flea, make your way to Good Old Days at Beach Plaza and treat the family to an array of delectable local food. The newly opened family-friendly restaurant provides value-for-money meals that will whet your appetite, be it choosing from the ala carte menu or indulging in the buffet spread.

4. Sentosa Merlion Magic Lights
What could be a better way to end a day of family fun than to watch an amazing light show at the iconic Merlion statue on the island? Catch the most dazzling display in town when Sentosa’s majestic Merlion comes to life and gets splashed with colourful and vibrant lights — we are sure that you and the kids will be equally mesmerised.
And as you visit the Sentosa Merlion – the Guardian of Prosperity, don’t forget to collect your Prosperity Coin Holder, which comes free with every admission ticket purchased*.

5. Sentosa Egg Fiesta – Garden Edition!
Easter without some egg-citing activities would be no fun. So bring the whole family down to Sentosa for a terrific time to enjoy the Egg Fiesta! Snap photos of your little (and not so little ones) in a whimsical Easter Garden with colourful giant eggs and bunny characters.
There are a whole bunch of fun activities such as egg painting and bunny photo prop making to choose from. Once the kids finish painting their Easter eggs, they can go ahead and hang them from the Giant Easter Tree.

6. The Great Egg-Venture at Sentosa HarbourFront Precinct
This has to be the event that will make your kids eggs-tatic! Gather your family, gather your friends and join in Singapore’s biggest egg hunt!
Oh what fun it will be to search for giant Easter eggs that will be hidden across Mount Faber, Harbourfront and Sentosa. Find these eggs – which have been hand-painted by local students from Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Design, as well as emerging talents to renowned local and regional artists – and stand a chance to win great prizes!
On top of a Grand Draw, participants can also stand to win attractive prizes every week, including shopping and dining vouchers, hotel stays, attraction tickets and more.
