Quick recipe for baby and family

Quick recipe for baby and family

Juggling between caring for the little one and cooking in order to save money really takes a toil on me. Thus i started to think of ideas so that I can cook in the shortest time and in the least tedious way while still being nutritious enough for baby. So this is how I do it within 15 to 30 minutes in this sample recipe.

Equipments required:

Steamer

Blender or chopper

Wok or frying pan

Ingredients required:

  • Dory fish
  • Ready-made sweet & sour sauce
  • Canned pineapple cubes
  • Chye Sim (or other selected vegetables such as xiao bai chye or Nai Bai)
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Bottled fried garlic in oil
  • Eggs
  • oil for frying
  • Brown Rice (or your preferred rice type)

Procedure:

** Transfer the frozen dory fish to the fridge to thaw the night before.

Bowl 1: place the washed dory fish

Bowl 2: using scissors, cut the selected vegetables which in this case its chye sim and place it in the bowl

Bowl 3: prepare rice for steaming

Throw all the 3 bowls to steam while I continue my other chores.

For Baby:

Once ready, transfer the fish portion for the adults to a metal plate and add in the vegetables and rice to the fish required for baby to blend. Blend mixture for baby.

For the adults:

Sweet sour dory fish: Add pineapples and ready made sweet sour sauce. Throw the metal plate into the air fryer for 5 minutes to heat up the sauce.

Oyster sauce vegetables: add ready fried garlic and oyster sauce into the vegetables and mix.

Bulls eye eggs: Heat up the oil, throw in the oil, fry and dish out. Add dark soy sauce.

Serve all the dishes and brown rice. You can try with other sauces such as black pepper sauce for a change too.

Hope this simple recipe might bring you some joy and rest.
