On October 2022, Singapore’s Ministry of Education announced the upcoming start of classes for the new school year. Students enrolled in Primary 1, Kindergarten 1 and secondary school begin the new term on 3 January 2023.

Meanwhile, Kindergarten 2 and Primary 2-6 students commence classes on 4 January 2023. This scheduling is similar to almost all start-of-term dates where the Primary 1, Kindergarten 1 and secondary school levels start before others.
