To accommodate children’s day, the 2011 PSLE examination will take place a week later. MOE has shared that the adjustment was made to avoid disruption to the exam caused by the extended weekend to mark Children’s Day. Children’s Day falls on Oct 7, a Friday, and will be celebrated the day before in schools, with many declaring half-days.
The PSLE written papers have now been scheduled for Sept 29 to Oct 5.
