Mums, do take note – Toys “R” Us has issued a voluntary recall last month for the ‘Just Like Home’ toy toaster sets which were sold worldwide from August 2013 to August 2014.
Product recall: Toys “R” Us recalls the ‘Just Like Home’ toy toaster sets due to choking hazard.
The toaster sets were sold with 2 plastic toast slices and and 2 half plastic half bagel accessories. According to the statement posted on Spring Singapore, it has been found that if placed under pressure, the plastic toasts can crack and break into small pieces. This will then pose a choking hazard to kids.
What to do:
If you (or rather, your kids) currently own the ‘Just Like Home’ toy toaster set, you are advised to stop using using it immediately and return it to the nearest Toys “R” Us for a refund.
