Loose stools or diarrhoea in pregnancy may not be something that you should worry about. The fluctuating hormones of the body cause many different changes in the body, however, diarrhoea is not one of them.
Diarrhoea during pregnancy is usually caused due to the foods that you are eating and the extra water that you may be drinking. Sometimes, a new exercise routine may also cause your body to react with loose stools. Prenatal vitamins may also be attributed to diarrhoea during pregnancy.
Sometimes, diarrhoea during pregnancy may not be related to it at all. Food poisoning, stomach upset, flu or parasites in the stomach are also causes of loose stools. Since it is difficult to diagnose the exact cause of your loose stools without any proper testing, it is better if you get yourself checked by a doctor to point out the exact cause and begin treatment for diarrhoea.
